Muslim in Islamabad

Mhmm I dont know what I am thinking but something here always make me surprised, especially about the Moslem in Islamabad. I cant say it's Moslem in Pakistan as it is not always fair to judge one country with one group of community. Islamabad-from its name we already can tell that majority of the population is Moslem. Well, to some extent yes...
Last Friday, I went to Faisal Masjid-I will try not to use the word Mosque for Masjid-because masjid is what it actually is, not mosque or whatever. I was so excited because I never did Jumat praying before as it is not common for women in Indonesia to pray Jumat. So we walked down to the mesjid from the office. First thing that surprised me that they have different praying time in each mesjid for Jum'at. I didn't know why and my friend also could not answer the question. Faisal Masjid is so big and beautiful and it becomes more beautiful as it is surrounded by mountains. Subhanallah..it's amazing. When we arrived, a lot of people were already there, women, men, children...amazing! To be continued..I have to run now, will continue later. Well, I am back...
The differences are women in Indonesia wear "Mukena" for praying and in Pakistan they will pray with what they are wearing at the moment "just like that", I mean with their normal cloth, even they can show their feet. I was shocked at first because it's a big NO NO in Indonesia, and when I asked my Muslim woman's friend why is that?..the answer was really fascinating me..They do believe that they have to pray and talk to God in their normal daily shape, why we have to cover everything when we are praying then open it again after praying, don't you think it's such a hypocrite?? Mhmm it is true somehow. That was the first time for me to realize that it could be true..whom are we fooling here..God knows everything but again it is also not wrong if we want to serve and perform the best, let say in our cleanest and decent clothes whenever we want to talk to Allah in prayers, even though we open it again afterward, isn't it alright to treat praying as something special and try to be perfect even though we are not that perfect outside the prayers...my conclusion is, both are ok, there is no right or wrong, every muslim have their own right and believe on how they want to perform their prayers.
By the way, I saw this amazing view on the way to Weiland's apartment.
